White glove delivery within Southern California ranges from $150 to $350 for most items, based upon the distance from our workshop at:

National shipping ranges from $400 to $600 for most items under 150 pounds. National shipping is partial white-glove, meaning the shipper will help arrange the furniture items into your space, but will require assistance from you or another person who is on-site.

If you looked forward to getting put in corners as a kid, you're our kinda person.  The Lucas L-shaped desk allows you to break the rules by customizing spaces that otherwise wouldn't allow it.

The sizes listed here are standard suggestions, but we can handcraft your bespoke L-shaped desk to the exact dimensions your home office or office office requires, right down to the inch.  We can customize your cord management with tabletop outlets, grommet holes and wire racks; we can accommodate extra capacity with shelving, drawers and monitor stands; or if you need a standing L-desk or a U-shaped desk instead, we can make that happen, too.  

If you're worried about a work desk with this arrangement fitting into your office, you can stop that mess right now.  The entire piece of furniture will break down into five sections for simple transport and setup.  We have two 1.5"-thick desktops made from sustainable solid wood, which slot into one another at the connection point.  Then we have three legs made from 2" x 1" powder-coated tube steel, which connect to the base with a simple Alan wrench or key.

There are zero impediments to legroom with this design, as the back L-shaped leg and two end supports get the job done with complete stability.  You're out of excuses, let's go.

our urban hardwoods
sycamore, elm & ash

These sustainable planks come from non-farmed trees that recently fell in our metropolitan environment. Local urban-lumber milling companies such as Angel City Lumber and Street Tree Revival will retrieve them and turn them into beautiful dimensional lumber, rather than allowing them to be sent to landfills. We've fostered excellent relationships with these organizations (noble, good-looking heroes whom we love dearly), so they'll call us when the newest batches are about to be dried and milled.

Our Reclaimed Wood
Old-growth Doug fir

We respect the use of all reclaimed wood, but at Parkman we only use salvaged lumber from Los Angeles County structures that were built about 100 years ago or more. This old-growth wood is derived from ancient trees that, thankfully, are no longer being deforested. We prefer this sustainable lumber due to its natural durability and beauty. Conversely, most furniture wood these days comes from farms that cut their crop young, leaving the lumber comparatively soft and bland. These farms also use massive amounts of energy and water, unnecessarily damaging the global environment.

We perform all of our woodwork and metalwork in our Los Angeles workshop so that we can personally oversee every aspect of your build. Most shops you'll come across simply design and market products, but don't actually build any furniture, preferring to outsource the physical work to cheaper white-label shops. We lean into the entire process, from inception to inspection, and pay fair wages with benefits to our expert craftspeople.
