The best seat at a pedestal table is every seat. With the base tucked to the center, there are no corner legs to straddle, chairs slide all the way in, and a table that officially seats six absorbs eight when the whole family shows up. That is why pedestal dining tables anchor so many of our favorite commissions, from breakfast nooks to full dining rooms.

Every pedestal table in this collection is handcrafted to order in our Los Angeles workshop. We mill, build and finish each piece in-house, and our metalwork happens under the same roof, so wood pedestals, steel columns and sculptural bases all come from one team that answers for the whole table. Single pedestals suit rounds and squares. Double pedestals carry long rectangles and ovals without a wobble.

Pedestal bases are also the workhorses of banquette and booth seating, where wall benches make corner legs impossible. We build banquette tables constantly for Los Angeles kitchens and restaurants, and we will size the top and offset the base so sliding into the booth never involves gymnastics.

Pick your species, black walnut, white oak, or naturally fallen elm, ash and sycamore milled from local Southern California trees, plus reclaimed wood with real history in it. Then pick your size, or send us the dimensions of your space and let us draw the table to fit. Each piece is finished by hand with a hard-wax oil that keeps the grain warm and repairable for decades.
