A round dining table changes the way a room works. Nobody sits at the head, conversation crosses the table instead of running down its length, and a tight dining room gains back the walking space a big rectangle would swallow. We handcraft round and oval dining tables to order in our Los Angeles workshop, where every piece is milled, built and finished in-house by the same small team.

Most of the tables in this collection ride on pedestal bases, which is the secret to a good round table. With no legs at the edge, every chair slides in clean and you can squeeze in an extra guest without anyone straddling a table leg. Our oval and racetrack shapes bring the same easy geometry to longer rooms and kitchen banquettes, a Parkman specialty.

Choose your wood and we build the table around it. Black walnut for deep, dramatic grain. White oak for a pale, modern look. Or one of our naturally fallen Southern California hardwoods, elm, ash and sycamore milled from local trees that would otherwise have gone to the landfill. Bases are fabricated in our own metal shop in black, bronze, brass or nearly any finish your space calls for.

For sizing, a 48 inch round seats four with room to breathe, a 54 inch seats five to six, and a 60 inch handles six to eight. Need something in between, or an oval cut to fit a bay window? That is the point of custom. Every table ships within the contiguous U.S., with white-glove delivery across Los Angeles, Orange County and beyond.
