Walnut is the wood people mean when they say they want a beautiful table. Deep chocolate browns, rolling grain with streaks of caramel and violet, and a surface that seems to hold light instead of just reflecting it. Every dining table in this collection can be built in solid black walnut, handcrafted to order in our Los Angeles workshop, where we mill, build and finish each piece in-house.

When we say solid walnut, we mean the whole table. No veneer over particleboard, no thin walnut skin on a mystery core. Real black walnut boards, jointed and finished by hand with a hard-wax oil that soaks into the grain rather than sitting on top like plastic. The finish protects against spills and daily life, and unlike a factory lacquer it can be renewed with a rag and a little more oil, which is how a walnut table gets handed down instead of thrown out.

Because every Parkman table is made to order, walnut is a choice you make, not a separate product line. Pick any design below, from pedestal rounds to long banquet rectangles to sculptural statement pieces, tell us your dimensions, and we build it in walnut from the base up. Our in-house metal shop pairs the wood with steel in black, bronze, brass or a custom color.
